5th grade promotion

Last assembly of the year: Benjamin was one of the claymo leaders

Pour finir l'année en beauté, Benjamin a été choisi pour mener la derniere assemblée de l'année ou les enfants de CM2, en route pour le collège passe la responsabilité de leader aux élèves de CM1 (M&M&M cela devrait te rappeller quelque chose...). Les videos sont trop longues mais elles sont disponibles sur smugmug.

To end his last elementary school year, Benjamin has been selected to be one of the leaders for the school assembly when the 5th graders moving to middle school pass the leader responsibility the the 4th graders.

Benjamin and I made some pumpkin pasties for his Fantasy Character Banquet at school. He went as Harry Potter.

This week in school

From the teacher:

For the past two weeks the students have been working in groups during literacy to make books for our kindergarten buddies. They had to come up with a life lesson that kindergartners could use, and then create a story and pictures to go along with it. We presented our books on Friday and I wanted to share them with you also. The students really seemed to enjoy this project.
